Dedicated to the memory of Dot

This site is a tribute to Dot. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

A celebration of Dot's life

Peacefully in hospital on 20th February, Dot aged 93 years.  Dearly beloved Wife of the late George.  Much loved Mum of George, John, Graham, Lillian and the late Paul.  Special Mother-in-Law of Carole, Tanya and Mike and also a devoted Grandma and Great Grandma.

Service to take place in St Martin and St Hilary’s Church, Kirklevington on Tuesday 11th March at 12 noon followed by Cremation in the Maplewood Chapel, Stockton Crematorium at 1:00pm.

Would friends please meet at Church.

Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if so desired to Great North Air Ambulance Service or Dementia UK.  Donations can be made and memories of Dot can be shared by visiting Dot’s online tribute page by using the following link, https://dorothybrackenbury.muchloved.com/ a collection will also be available at Church.

Thoughts

I have happy childhood memories of Auntie Dot 🥰🥰 walking hand in hand down the never ending back garden, and we would put lots of coal and wood on the fire but made sure it burnt down when Uncle George was due home. I loved listening my mum & Auntie Dot reminiscing about their upbringing, but I did avoid Friday night tea as Uncle George would bring tripe home for tea. When I was a teenager Myself and John would visit on a Saturday evening and go down the crown with Auntie Dot, John & Graham. My favourite memory was out trips out in Auntie Dots car we would all squash into her tiny mini car Love and happy memories Auntie Dot xxx
